Job Summary:  We're looking for a strong candidate to join our IT department. The successful candidate for this position will be able to support business operations through the analysis and development of reports and tools, as well as develop and maintain custom software for use by Pengate. Additionally, this role will be responsible for configuring, implementing, maintaining and supporting 3rd-party add-on/bolt-on software for the ERP system. Candidates with strong knowledge and understanding of service organizations will have a distinct advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Computer Function Analysis - Learn and understand business processes and system interactions
  • Design - Work with stakeholders to define projects to then build, test and deploy solutions
  • Test & Debug - Test and deploy customer software and vendor supply solutions
  • Troubleshoot - Provide high-level support for business applications
  • Communicate - Interact with vendors and support the integration of external systems
  • Document - Develop and maintain documentation on business systems and programs
  • Discretion - Exhibit discretion with confidential information

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in technology field, or business degree with related technology experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience using SQL is required
  • Mastery of programming language (with ability to provide samples)
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to relate to a wide range of user levels
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and time-management capabilities
  • Ability to analyze data and find information to support business goals
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record

  • Windows (Git, Visual Studio Code, Office)
  • Linux (Apache/MySQL, Informix, Git)
  • G-Suite, Office 365
  • Programming Languages (SQL, Apache, Apex, PHP/JavaScript, Bash/PowerShell)
