We're looking for a strong candidate to add to our Service Management Team at our corporate York, PA Sales & Service Center. IF selected, you will be in charge of supervising and assisting the activities of our field service technicians who are engaged in servicing, repairing, and maintaining our customers' material handling equipment. This equipment may include lift trucks, dock levelers, commercial garage doors, industrial batteries, conveyor systems, and additional material handling parts and equipment. You will also conduct business process analysis, apply management controls, monitor measurable trends in field service operations, lead and facilitate group discussions, resolve interpersonal conflicts, and solve problems in coordination with other divisions of the Pengate organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be safety-conscious while caring for customers and employees
- Provide field service leadership and management
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Engage in business-development processes and improvement
- Continually monitor and improve field service performance indicators
- Manage growth of the Pengate customer base and the commensurate field service workforce
- Reduce overall service costs and spending
- Execute budget planning and management
Qualifications:
- Formal education in a business- or management-related field, or demonstrated leadership or management in the material handling field
- Mechanical aptitude and material handling maintenance experience, particularly with lift trucks (strongly desired)
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and an impeccable driving record
- Complete a favorable background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Exceptional customer-service and presentation skills, and the ability to relate to a wide range of audiences
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, aural) and the ability to communicate well with all levels of the Pengate organization
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Working knowledge of field service management and operations
- Able to read and understand technical and financial aspects on all related products
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and CRM platforms
