Job Summary:  Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a strong candidate to add to our sales team for the Central PA area who will work out of our York, PA location. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with existing and potential customers to educate all levels of employees within an organization about the various material-handling products and services we offer. These products/services include (but are not limited to): Raymond electric lift trucks, their associated power solutions, various warehouse products, integrated material handling systems and fleet management/telematics offerings.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote & sell Raymond electric lift trucks and all associated material handling products
  • Develop & present actionable strategies to our customers around our product/service offering
  • Maintain existing accounts & develop new accounts, including "cold calling" on potential new customers
  • Make equipment recommendations and offer material handling systems & solutions
  • Prepare proposals & presentations to support the sales process
  • Prepare& maintain reports, both customer-facing & internal
  • Maintain communication with other departments to enhance our value proposition
  • Maintain internal customer information
  • Develop & maintain business plans


 

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field (strongly preferred), or equivalent related experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or comparable industry experience
  • Possess exceptional customer-service & presentation skills, with the ability to relate to a wide range of audiences
  • Possess a broad knowledge of the entire sales process (required; B2B sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written, verbal, aural) to all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, organizational & time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM)
  • Able to understand technical & financial documents regarding our products/services
  • Able to safely operate a lift truck for demonstration purposes
