Job Summary: We're looking for a strong, customer-focused candidate to add to our Shop Service team. If selected, you will be undertaking duties that include pre-start checks, planned maintenance, and breakdown repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a professional demeanor and promote goodwill between departments
- Perform necessary repairs/modifications, as needed
- Prepare necessary documentation relating to individual repair orders in a neat/accurate manner
- Follow safety rules and ensure hazardous waste is properly disposed
- Maintain shop area to ensure it's clean, organized and hazard-free
- Provide personal tools required for effectively and safely performing duties
- Keep work area clean/clutter-free; keep tools clean and in good repair
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Effectively communicate with management and co-workers
- Read and interpret schematics
- Read and understand necessary service and training manuals
- Follow verbal and/or demonstrated instructions
- Effectively utilize volt and ohm multimeters
- Demonstrate thorough mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Demonstrate work safety practices, including proper use of safety equipment (safety glasses, harnesses, etc.)
- Perform physical work, occasionally exerting 125+ lbs. of force, frequently 50+ lbs. of force, and constantly up to 20 lbs. of force
- Perform activities (climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping)
- Safely operate drills, grinders, presses, forklifts, hoists, overhead cranes, and personal hand tools
- Draw upon support resources within the company and recognize appropriate situations to do so
- Perform duties beyond typical working hours and/or on weekends, based on customer needs
- Possess a familiarity of PC applications (laptop/tablet) to diagnose equipment issues
