Job Summary:We're looking for a strong candidate to add to our Aftermarket Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with existing and potential customers to educate and promote the various material handling products and services we offer to all levels of an organization. This is a field position that requires travel to customer sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow the number of Service contracts in the territory
  • Grow Parts sales within the territory
  • Maintain existing accounts and develop new accounts, including “cold calling” on potential new customers
  • Prepare proposals and presentations
  • Prepare and maintain reports, both customer-facing and internal
  • Maintain communications with other departments to enhance our value proposition
  • Maintain internal customer information
  • Develop and maintain business plans

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and positive driving record
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service, presentation skills and ability to relate to a wide-range of audiences
  • Demonstrate a broad knowledge of the entire sales process (business-to-business sales experience preferred)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to all levels of the organizations (VPs to Entry-Level employees)
  • Possess strong problem-solving, organizational and time-management capabilities
  • Able to read and understand technical and financial aspects on all related products
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM)
  • Able to safely operate lift trucks for demonstration purposes
