Job Summary: Due to our continued growth, we're looking for a strong candidate to add to our National Accounts sales team.The successful candidate will be responsible for working with larger existing and potential regional and national accounts to educate and promote the various material-handling products and services we offer here at Pengate. This includes interacting with and teaching all levels of employees within an organization about the benefits of our Raymond electric lift trucks, associated power products, various other warehouse products, integrated material handling systems, and fleet management/telematics offerings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sell Raymond electric lift trucks and their associated material-handling products
  • Develop and present actional strategies to customers in support of our products and services
  • Maintain existing accounts while developing new accounts, including cold calling on potential new customers
  • Make equipment recommendations and offer smart, practical material-handling systems and solutions
  • Prepare and maintain customer-facing and internal proposals and reports
  • Maintain communications with other internal departments to enhance our overall product proposition
  • Properly manage and maintain internal customer information
  • Develop and carry out detailed business plans


  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field (strongly preferred)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' business-to-business, outside sales experience
  • Exceptional customer-service and presentation skills, with the ability to relate to a wide range of audiences
  • Broad knowledge of the sales process, particularly in B2B sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be applied to all levels of an organization
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills
  • Work well within and lead in a team environment
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and dependability
  • Excellent interpersonal and project-management skills with ability to describe technical information
  • High attention to detail with ability to multitask , prioritize, quickly resolve problems and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to understand technical and financial documents on related products
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems
  • Able to safely operate lift truck and material-handling equipment for demonstration purposes
