Job Summary: We are looking for a strong candidate to add to our Rental Department team. We are currently looking for a “home every night” driver for our York, PA branch. This position will be responsible for the delivery and pick-up of rental and demo forklifts to our customers' warehouse locations. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for the organization and storage of all lift trucks in our rental forklift fleet.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep the warehouse area clean and clutter free
- Provide proper care and maintenance of the delivery truck
- Inspect rental equipment before each delivery
- Able to answer customer questions and demonstrate proper operation of all delivered equipment
- Provide complete and accurate written records for all shipments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Possess current CDL-B with Hazmat endorsement
- Able to pass (or possess a current and valid) DOT physical and drug screen
- Possess a clear MVR report
- Able to work independently
- Demonstrate solid attention to detail
- Possess an eagerness to learn
- Practice strong, customer-focused communication skills
- Exhibit customer-friendly and team-oriented work ethic
- Possess a strong mechanical aptitude
- Exhibit experience with forklifts (not necessary, but a strong plus)
- Familiar with PC applications (tablet)
