Job Summary:  Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a strong candidate to add to our sales team in western PA, working out of our Cranberry Township location. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with existing and potential customers to educate and promote the various material handling products and services we offer, to all levels in an organization. This includes but is not limited to Raymond electric lift trucks, associated power, various warehouse products, integrated material handling systems and fleet management/telematics offerings.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sell Raymond electric lift trucks and associated material handling products
  • Maintain existing accounts and develop new accounts, including cold calling potential new customers
  • Make equipment recommendations and offer material handling systems and solutions to potential clients
  • Prepare proposals and presentation for sales pitches
  • Prepare and maintain reports, both customer-facing and internal
  • Maintain communication with other departments to enhance Pengate's value proposition
  • Maintain internal customer information
  • Develop and maintain business plans



  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field (strongly preferred), or equivalent experience
  • Possess a valid driver's license with superior driving record
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and presentation skills, as well as the ability to relate to a wide range of audiences
  • Demonstrate a broad knowledge of the entire sales process (knowledge in B2B sales a huge plus)
  • Practice strong, customer-focused communication skills (both written and verbal) to all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrate superior problem-solving, organizational and time management skills
  • Able to understand technical and financial documents on all related products
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM programs
  • Able to safely operate lift trucks for the purpose of customer demonstration
