Job Summary:  We are looking for a Warehouse Parts Specialist candidate to add to our Parts Team at our York, PA location. This role is ideal for a self-motivated problem solver who keeps the customer and company in high regards at all times. This position will provide parts service and support to all customers. This position will be multi-faceted with varying day-to-day job duties. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and exhibit detail-orientation with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory and warehouse parts-stocking duties
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Pick customer orders & pack/ship packages via computerized UPS/FedEx terminal
  • Safely operate a tire-press machine
  • Answer phones and perform other administrative duties as required
  • Follow safety procedures, along with lift truck safety
  • Maintain good housekeeping throughout the parts inventory area
  • Assist in-house parts team with phone calls & taking orders


 

 Qualifications:

  • Possess strong problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrate excellent customer-service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Able to interact with team members to develop strong working relationships
  • Possess industrial parts experience with an understanding of the material handling industry
  • Possess a high school diploma (or equivalent experience)
  • Able to perform heavy-lifting duties frequently (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Able to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure or stress
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written, verbal, aural)
  • Possess an excellent driving record
