Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Train internal employees as trainers for various safety courses, ensuring adequate trainers are in place throughout each service region
  • On customer sites, train customers' employees on required safety training programs
  • Provide expertise on Safety training requirements based on individual customer accounts
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions of safety training programs for delivery to equipment operators; courses include Pedestrian, Forklift, and other programs as needed
  • Work with sales, marketing, and operations to support customer-facing safety requirements, and meet with customers to actively communicate programs and progress of objectives
  • Propose customized training packages based on unique needs of each customer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or combination of college and related program-development experience) required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience conducting safety training for equipment operators; experience conducting train-the-trainer programs is preferred
  • Material Handling industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Federal and State occupational safety regulations, including OSHA
  • Team facilitation skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional settings; strong team player with ability to organize, prioritize, handle time constraints, and manage shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated mastery of sales skills such as selling value over price and selling the value of training to our internal sales force and potential customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's’ license is required
  • Travel required
  • Knowledge of CRM database preferred, but not required
