Job Summary: Due to our continued growth, we are currently looking for a strong candidate to add to our Sales Team in western PA, working out of our Cranberry Township location. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with existing and potential customers to educate and promote the various material handling products and services we offer to all levels of employment in a given organization. This includes but is not limited to Raymond electric lift trucks, associated power products, various warehouse products, integrated material handling systems, and fleet management and telematics offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sale of Raymond Electric lift-trucks and associated material handling & warehouse products
  • Maintain existing accounts while developing new accounts, including “cold calling” on potential new customers
  • Make equipment recommendations and offer material handling systems and solutions recommendations
  • Prepare proposals and presentations
  • Prepare and maintain reports, both customer-facing and internal
  • Maintain communication with other departments to enhance our value proposition
  • Maintain internal customer information
  • Develop and maintain business plans
  • Identify equipment-service needs and aftermarket prospects
  • Familiarize customers with the full range of Pengate services and support products
  • Conduct occasional training sessions
  • Establish and develop relationships

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field i(strongly preferred) or equivalent related experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales or comparable industry experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and pristine driving record
  • Must have exceptional customer service, presentation skills, and the ability to relate to a wide range of audiences
  • Broad knowledge of the entire sales process is required; business-to-business sales experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal to all levels of an organization
  • Requires strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Able to understand technical and financial documents on all related products
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
  • Able to safely operate lift trucks for demonstration purposes
